Gym Tip: Entertainment

So I was at the gym today and went on the treadmill for a mile. Then I got off and switched to floor exercises and then went back on the treadmill. But I wasn’t feeling it. I was having trouble keeping running, and it was a new machine and kinda confusing – truthfully to the annoying point – so I went off. I complained to my mom (go workout buddies!) but she wasn’t done yet. So I joined her on the eliptical, listened to music and started going. BUT it felt really slow, so I went on youtube. There was internet access and 15 minutes went by so fast! I watched a fun video that had nothing to do with working out and enjoyed it (don’t get me wrong I love working out, it can just be kinda slow). Point of today’s story: find entertainment in whatever your doing and it will go by a lot faster. Don’t give up on exercise (I was going to) just find what makes it enjoyable.
